The third corona wave is rolling over Europe. In almost all countries, the number of new infections is increasing, in some cases significantly. This was to be expected because this recent increase was preceded, firstly, by hesitant opening steps, secondly, the people are weary from the massive interference by the state in their lives, and thirdly, the occurrence of virus mutations has further exacerbated the situation.
