Cindy Crawford – Body Shaping Workout – Review

This video consists of two workouts, one of 40 minutes in which the legs, abs, shoulders and arms are worked; a 45 minute workout that works your back, abs, chest, glutes and focuses on stretching and toning the legacy. Also included is a full-body routine that uses no equipment and lasts for 10 minutes. You really have to be ready for this workout because it is full of energy. I’m soaked when it’s over Each video begins with a warm-up, then you are introduced to exercises that work your abs, legs, arms, and shoulders, followed by a cool-down. She constantly reminds you to drink a lot of water and take breaks frequently, but she didn’t have to remind me because I was sweating so much that I drank about 40 oz. Of water throughout the video.

Exercises that target the legs are good because you work them in a way that you feel the burn without pain. I have to warn you that leg exercises consist of a lot of leg kicks and swings, so make sure you have room for that.

The warm-up in each of the workouts is the same so I have no problem because they are short and she goes to workouts. I especially like the upbeat music that accompanies the movements because it really gets your energy going.

I have read some reviews on the Shape Your Body workout video and they are mostly positive, but some critics claimed that the movements are too fast and unsafe. Some feel that she is not properly trained to instruct people in such an intense training style. I must admit, this one isn’t for beginners, but those who are used to Cindy Crawford’s previous exercise videos will know what to expect. Feedback from many customers also indicated that they felt they had a really challenging workout using it. I think the best thing to do when you feel like you are not ready to do something like the number of reps per exercise is to cut back until you are ready.

If you think Cindy’s bare feet will put you off and the fact that she wears a bathing suit and puckers her lip from time to time, as she has in some of her other exercise videos, this may not be for you. However, if you can get past that, know that Cindy and her personal trainer Radu do a great job of presenting a high performance training video. Beginners don’t need to apply!
