An Oberlander was amazed when, precisely on March 3rd, a penal order from the Innsbruck District Authority fluttered into his house. The authority demands 100 euros, or a substitute imprisonment of 24 hours.
The amount has to be paid because the Telfer went for a walk alone on the Inn on April 5, 2020 and crossed a municipality boundary on the way there. In fact, the man had stretched his legs in the neighboring municipality of Rietz. That wasn’t allowed a year ago. This was ensured by an ordinance by the governor, which prohibited crossing the municipal boundaries. With this measure, the Tyrolean state government intended to contain the corona virus.
