Besides Bigfoot and his snowy cousin the Yeti, we seem to forget that there are famous people in the glare of searchlights who have incredibly big feet. These aren’t always necessarily obvious candidates, some will surprise, amaze, and delight, and your favorite singer, actor, or artist may be on the list.
We will start with the ladies who have beautiful size 9 boats to show off. Now how many women do you know who are 9 feet tall? Not many, right? Try Gwyneth Paltrow, Princess Diana, Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, and yes, you’re reading this right, the slim, elf actress Audrey Hepburn. All size 9, all mighty foot queens.
Just missing the top spot on our list of big feet for women are sizes 8-9 and some fall into this not unfortunate category. Naomi Campbell, Anne Hathaway, Cindy Crawford, Charlize Theron, Jackie Kennedy and Mariah Carey are among the packed group.
There are two female stars who wear a remarkable size 10 shoe. Geena Davis, the actress famous for dating ‘The Fly’ and the big budget flop ‘Cutthroat Island’ is one of them and the other is, perhaps not too surprisingly, Australian supermodel and ‘Body’ Elle Macpherson.
Notable near misses are Katie Holmes, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Hudson, and Kate Beckinsale’s 9.5 shoes. Hollywood seems to be practically littered with big female feet.
There are no surprises to guess that former runway models have mammoth feet back then, but there are some famous women whose helmets just don’t seem to fit. After all, doesn’t shoe size correlate to your height? Often but not always. Take Scarlett Johansson, for example, and Audrey Hepburn. Neither is close to approaching 6 feet, but both have ample foot ratios.
The list of sizes 8 to 10 is much longer than the few names strewn here even. Household stars like Cate Blanchett, Tyra Banks, Jessica Biel, and Kate Winslett fit comfortably into the size 9 category. It seems that a lot of powerful women have powerful feet. Many are indeed tall and above average height, but some are just plain big and undoubtedly proud.
Famous women can definitely have big feet then. Not all are perfectly small and have delicate little tootsies that could break in the wind. In many ways, it’s nice to know that, aside from profession and payroll, they are just as normal human beings as the rest of us, in all of our sizes.
