Kitzbühel – Around 2 p.m. on Friday a fire broke out on the ground floor of a residential building in Kitzbühel. According to the fire brigade, the resident tried to extinguish the flames with a fire extinguisher before the emergency services arrived. A respiratory protection team was able to extinguish the fire quickly.
Several furnishings were damaged, and thick smoke had spread throughout the house. The fire brigade used two ventilation devices. After an hour, the Kitzbühel city fire brigade stopped working. The police and ambulance were also on site.
People were not injured. There was material damage of an unprecedented amount. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. (TT.com)
