French Colis Privé attacks the Belgian parcel delivery market

The French company has chosen Belgium but also Luxembourg and Morocco for its first international steps. “In Belgium and Luxembourg, Colis Privé is developing an optimized logistics plan that enhances the speed and efficiency of order processing and allows home deliveries on D + 1 in the afternoon and evening”, underlines the carrier. in a press release.

Colis Privé will rely, to develop its activities in Belgium and Luxembourg, on a sorting hub which will be operational from June 2021 and will be located in Willebroek near Antwerp. The company will also use a network of subcontractors using a fleet of 90% electric vehicles, it promises.

Colis Privé, in which the giant Amazon was a shareholder, now belongs to the French holding company HOPPS Group. In France, the company has nearly 200 customers and works with some 3,800 delivery people.
