The Belgian roaster Rombouts sets up in Wallonia

Today managed by the grandson, Xavier Rombouts, the company has finally decided to establish a physical presence in Wallonia. After Hoboken, Melsbroek, Drongen and Kermt in the north of the country, it has just opened its 5th Belgian site in Fernelmont, a few kilometers from Namur. A brand new building of over 1,000 square meters built to the latest ecological standards (solar panels and minimum energy consumption).

It includes a showroom, a technical service and a warehouse. It will house, in addition to a warehouse, a training center for baristas, workshops but also the possibility of organizing events.

“By setting up in Wallonia, we want to strengthen the national dimension of our brand, affirms Xavier Rombouts the managing director. We are closer to our local partners.”
