Indian diplomacy had been battling for a few weeks to persuade the United States, Japan and Australia to invest in its anti-Covid vaccine production capacities. At the summit of the Quad, which was held on March 12, she won her case. Delhi will thus be able to establish itself as an essential supplier of vaccines for poor countries and counter the diplomacy of its Chinese rival.
