Eight women’s slaloms were on the program in this special World Cup winter. In seven of them stood Katharina Liensberger on the pedestal. Only once, at the race in Jasna, did the Vorarlberg woman miss the podium – as fourth, but only by a few hundredths. This makes her podium result the best of all women who are still racing for the ball. The leader in the slalom classification, Petra Vlhova, brought it to five podium ranks, third in the ranking, Mikaela Shiffrin, made it into the top three five times in seven races.
