The latest in the Best Sex Positions series, this particular article deals with one very special sexual position, which both in the literature, in the practice of sex teachers (such as Casanova and Errol Flynn), and in personal research by this humble author, shines much more than all the others.
This is the position mentioned in both the Kama Sutra and the Perfumed Garden, and is called Dok el arz (meaning to strike on the spot).
Using the translation of the immortal Arabic classic, The Perfumed Garden, Sheikh Nefzaoui describes the sexual position in this way.
The man, sitting with his legs stretched out, calls out to the woman, who comes and straddles his thighs. He then hugs her back, crossing his legs around her, thus placing her vulva in front of his penis.
The woman then slides the penis into her vagina, and this leaves her arms free to wrap around the man’s neck. The couple is now face to face, belly to belly, and the man is deeply penetrating the woman.
The man, for his part, embraces the woman by the sides and waist, and helps her get up and down on his member. The woman must help a lot in the movement.
In a more modern approach, the man will sit on the edge of the bed, with his legs dangling over the edge of the bed and his feet on the floor.
The woman will sit on his thighs, wrapping her legs around his back and placing her vagina directly in line with the man’s penis. The woman helps the man penetrate her and, with her free arms, she embraces the man as he embraces her.
There is no actual thrust, but rather a twisting motion, with the penis firmly at its maximum penetration.
The woman rubs her pubic area against the man’s, the couple is free to kiss and their hands free to explore and caress each other’s bodies.
The movement will continue for a long time, and the woman will soon reach a deep and long-lasting orgasm.
This position is superior to all others, as it provides the greatest amount of intimacy for the partner, who can kiss and caress each other throughout the sexual act.
The woman is usually moved to great pre-orgasmic spasms and will eventually reach greater degrees of orgasm. It is not uncommon in this position for the woman to even rip and tear at the man’s flesh, biting down and voicing loud moans of satisfaction.
