Bodyweight Strength Training

Do you think the only way to build strength is by lifting weights? Mistaken. Your body has no idea how it’s receiving its resistance. The body doesn’t just respond to lifting weights. Your body will respond to any resistance you give it.

Just because you lift weights doesn’t mean you’ll get huge weird muscles. You can build muscle from any type of resistance. But getting to size takes more than just pushing heavy iron. Requires extra calories, requires a lot of rest, takes supplements.

Again, look at the bloated bodybuilder, these guys are huge, but do you think all they do is lift weights, go home, drink and sleep? No, they live this 24/7.

Some of these guys are strong and athletic. But most are just show. They love the look, the big arms, the huge chest.

But can the average guy get strong without putting on all that unhealthy extra weight? Yes, you don’t have to lift weights and spend money on supplements to get strong, all you need is hard work, a good diet, water and rest.

I always think that I want to gain size if I take this supplement if I have to do this if I have to do that, but it all comes down to training, eating and rest.

Here’s an example, men who use their bodies every day for a living who shovel tons of dirt or move furniture all day, day after day or even the garbage man who spends all day throwing cans.

These guys are never huge even though they lift thousands of pounds all day and week.

However, I know these men have developed a lot of strength, but it’s functional strength, not heavy muscle. Your body will get stronger by lifting anything, sandbags, logs, rocks and your own body weight.

Body weight can build strength, stamina, explosive power and athleticism, and you can also gain weight if you eat the extra calories. You can use your body weight at different angles to build incredible strength.
