Chronic Sinusitis Resolution: Beyond the Neti Pot

I talk to more and more people who tell me that they not only have allergies, but also chronic sinus problems. I used to be one of those people. There was a period in my life when for two months out of the year I couldn’t get more than 10 feet from a tissue box without wearing my sleeve. It was then that I discovered the effectiveness of acupuncture in alleviating allergies. I underwent a treatment and never felt my nose or itching again. Although I have been much better since then, I have occasional symptoms. I keep dairy and other mucus-forming foods to a minimum, use my Neti pot regularly, and have had subsequent acupuncture treatments … I felt like I hadn’t figured out how to handle the problem 100%. A couple of weeks ago I caught a little bug and within 12 hours I had sinus pressure to the point that I couldn’t sleep. For me, this was clear evidence that I had already had a sinus problem.

Symptoms of chronic sinusitis include:

• Drainage of a thick, yellow, or green discharge from the nose or back of the throat

• Nasal obstruction or congestion, causing difficulty in breathing through the nose

• Pain, tenderness, and swelling around the eyes, cheeks, nose, or forehead

• Pain in the upper jaw and teeth

• Reduced sense of smell and taste.

• Cough, which may be worse at night. Other signs and symptoms may include:

• Bread of ears

• Throat pain

• Bad breath (halitosis)

• Fatigue or irritability

• and nausea.

Also, hidden infections, those that are low enough to avoid detection, are responsible for suppressing overall immune function and putting a great deal of stress on the body. Stress makes weight loss difficult and contributes to a number of other serious illnesses. I know the anatomy of a human head and the laws of physics well enough to know that there is no way for the saline solution in my neti pot to get everywhere to remove pollen, viruses, bacteria, mold, and the fungi that float in the air. Antibiotics are a notoriously poor way to treat sinus problems due to lack of blood flow to the area; after all, the sinuses are hollow spaces.

I went in search of a deeper solution, literally! After a bit of research, I found a sinus rinsing technique different and better than anything I had read before. This technique involves making a hypertonic rinsing solution and placing it in all the recesses of the sinus cavities to rinse off offending material and soothe and shrink inflamed sinus tissue. Tea “GIRO FLIP FRIGGY“It is a safe and effective method to irrigate the 8 sinuses instead of just the 2 or 4 that the neti pot reaches. In addition to the detailed explanation of how to do it, there are more than 200 comments from people who have used the technique, to often after a lifetime of chronic problems, it had miraculous results.

Taking control of your sinus health is easy. I did the “flip” for a couple of weeks after my little episode and it worked like a charm. By the end of the second day I was completely pain free. It also eliminated the persistent postnasal drip that I also had. Whether you have occasional or chronic problems, this could be the solution you are looking for. Since the Friggy Flip-Turn guide lacks images, I had to do some trial and error to get it right. If you have questions or would like additional guidance, I will be happy to assist you. It would be my pleasure to advance the crusade against sinus pain and post nail drip (not to mention halitosis. LOL!).
