How to insert an image in WordPress

Hello. I am new here and I hope my first article can be useful for some new WordPress users. In this example, I am using WordPress version 3.01 to explain this. If you are using an older version, don’t worry. It should be almost the same. Otherwise, install the latest version of WordPress if you are unsure.

Now let’s get started:

  1. In your WordPress, in the left column. Under the Mail gold Page, click on Add new.
  2. By default, the WordPress editor looks very simple. It’s just a white box with a little icon (or tools) on it.
  3. First, move the mouse cursor and click on the location within the editor space, where you want the image to be placed.
  4. Then move your mouse cursor to the top of the WordPress editor, you will see the words Upload / Insert, click the small rectangle icon next to it on the right side. (the closest to him)
  5. Is he Add an image icon link.
  6. A new popup will open, it will say, Add media files from your computer.
  7. Click on the Select files.
  8. Now, find the image file you want to insert in the editor space.
  9. Wait for it to break … delicious
  10. Then the thumbnail of the image will be displayed (if not displayed, the upload may have failed or the image filename is not written in alphabet or number).
  11. You can leave the Qualificationempty field if you want.
  12. Click on the Noneunder the URL of the link.
  13. Select the Alignment and Size want.
  14. Finally, click on the Embed in post gold Embed on page.
  15. The pop-up window will close automatically.
  16. Now your newly uploaded image is displayed in the editor area.
  17. If you want to move it to another paragraph or line, you can move the mouse cursor over the image, click and hold the left mouse button. Drag the image to the location you want.

That is all. Very easy to insert an image in WordPress.
