To Avoid Procrastinating, You Must START!

Although procrastination can be one of the most significant and concerning behaviors most people often recur, one of the key challenges in overcoming this tendency is to be ready, willing, prepared, and able. , to BEGIN! Often, we say, to procrastinate is to postpone until tomorrow what they should have done today, in most cases this continues, for much longer and, in fact, it means addressing the perceived obstacles, as soon as possible. as possible, proactively, rather than constantly delaying and procrastinating. After more than four decades of running hundreds of personal development and self-help/self-growth programs, seminars, and consultations, I firmly believe that the biggest obstacles often arise because a little focus on what could go wrong, and in a negative way, and they seem content, to remain, within the self-imposed restrictions, of their comfort zone, proceeding, only with the same – old, same – old ways! With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, and review, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it is so important, if you hope to become the best you can be!

1. Strengths/ stronger; see options; solutions; strategy; sustainable: Start by getting a complete checkup, from the neck up, and fully understand both your personal strengths and weaknesses, using each area of strength, to become stronger and better, while addressing each area of weakness, proactively! One must consider various options and alternatives, and proceed, with a strategy, to create workable, relevant and sustainable solutions!

2, truth/trust; trends: You simply should not and would not trust others. if they did not tell the truth, do not demand less of yourself! Find out your personal tendencies and whether they serve your best interests, both short term and long term, and proceed accordingly!

3. Attitude; fitness; attention; behavior: You may think you can or you can’t. Either way, you’ll be correct! Only when/if you proceed, consistently, with a well-considered, positive, can-do-but-not-wearing-rose-colored-glasses attitude, will you be able to pay close attention to how to do it better, personally. , proceed, forward, and at the present time! Never delay taking action based on your fears, because necessary, delayed action often makes things much worse.

4. Important; realistic; reasoning; sensitive: Try to make your reasoning and justification as responsive as possible to your best interests! Proceed, relevantly and realistically, proactively!

5. Prompt; time tested; trends: Determine the obstacle and consider it a challenge to overcome, instead of a problem! Proceed, in a timely and well-considered manner, aligning that, with harnessing time, proven knowledge and experience, and a willingness to assess current trends and use them to help your cause!

Avoid procrastination by being ready, willing and able to effectively BEGIN, instead of staying within your personal comfort zone! Up to you!
