Alpbach – For a 36-year-old winter sportsman, the day of skiing ended on Sunday in the hospital. The Austrian left on the red runway at around 12.45 p.m. According to the police, when he entered the connecting route, he fell without any outside interference. He slid across the runway and came to rest ten meters below the edge of the runway on a fallen tree – a few meters after the safety net.
The man suffered a concussion and injured his shoulder. After the first aid from the piste rescue service, he was flown to the Kufstein hospital by helicopter. (TT.com)
