A humorous look at misspellings when sex is on the mind

In a rush to find sex stories online? Forget spelling and just tap on that keyboard! Join me to take a look at the thousands of funny misspellings that people write every day on their search engines.

The best part of my job in website development is that I can use some powerful tools that provide real data on what people type in search engines like Google and Yahoo. These tools collect hundreds of millions of searches and provide a database of all the searches that the 1 billion Internet users entered during the last 90 days. You’ve probably already heard that “sex” is the number one search term that is typed the most. Bored, he needed a computer to tell us the most obvious facts. Let’s see something more interesting.

Looking at the list of the 1000 most popular search terms, I recently realized that “littotica” was number 22. Not bad for something I’ve never heard of before. A quick search of the term reveals that it is a website full of erotic literature. So far so good, but I had a feeling there might be some fun at hand. Then I used my web tools to tell me all the ways people misspell “lithotica.” Fifty-one spelling errors returned. Woof. Those are many ways to misspell a 10 letter word.

The most common misspelling is “literotic,” with 939 misspellings per day. Not bad, this is in fact as logical a name as the actual name of the website, only it lacks that Latin ending of the real name. The next most common is the winner of “I’m in a hurry,” “litrotica,” with 605 misspelled spellings per day. Just leave that “e” out and get me there a lot faster!

Perhaps many of the search engines have a certain intensity that leads to the nervous proclivity of “pressing the key twice”. The next two common spelling mistakes are double letter variations: “litterotica” (153 / day) and “litterotica” (145 / day).

As you go down the list, the variations turn into a mix of monkeys pounding keyboards, trying to write a Shakespearean play, but instead they approximate but never come close to Literotica’s real name: “litoteca”, “litroticca” , “litreoticia”. , “leiterotica”, “luterotica”, “ltierotica”, “litertiica”, etc.

Continuing on the list, the most honorable mention award goes to Nordic seekers with “littika” (5 / day). They may be alone.

And what was the rarest and most rare misspelling? Why, ironically, the one that almost seems correctly spelled: “lighterotica” (2 / day).
