Cricketers ‘Infidelity and Betrayal: The Cricketers’ Dilemma, Part 3

“Until such time as India would continue to offer a

Secular team, our 1 billion fans would carry on

be betrayed like the World Cup and Match at Lords “

However, the T20 World Cup has brought recognition to the players, but the main team is still struggling to gain a foothold. I extend my sincere thanks to the readers for my last article that highlighted the betrayal of the Indian cricketer since the Indian team started playing in Sharjah and in the World Cup. This is the sentiment of over a billion Indian fans (BIF) who often felt that when ever national prestige was at stake or if it was a Do or Die Match (DDM) against Pakistan or the Cup qualifying round of the 2007 World, the Indian Cricket Team (ICT) had always betrayed. I would like to discuss some issues.

First, on September 7, 2007, the similar sense of betrayal of the Nation was seen again when the entire team was mistreated under 188 runs during the England tournament. The repeated style of losing ground, especially by Ganguly and Tendulkar through very obvious and poor shots, is a clear indication of the conflict between their thoughts and bodily activities. It seems that while Daa has forgotten his non-ceremonial departure, the Master expects similar treatment. Not only do I share the views of my husband Som Sharma, my daughters Shruti, Srishti and Smriti that Indian players never learned to retire with honor, but I would also like to put on the record that Indian cricketers have never played for the nation. Rather, money has been their main objective. I have yet to see a cricketer who has voluntarily retired like Steve, Inzamam, Kapil and a few others. I’d like to reminisce about the old golden day as to how Little Master Sunil (LMS) was kept on the team despite repeated failures before completing his record-breaking century and subsequent retirement. Nonetheless, I continue to honor and pay my rich tribute to all the former stalwarts, who had paved a very solid foundation for ICT.

Second, whenever a reputable player struggles to re-enter the ICT, their various regional fan clubs and fans create uproar to support, but none had questioned the sincere efforts of these players to win my crucial “Do or Die Matches ( DDM) “. . I don’t remember any DDM; where these superblock players, but a few, have ever made a significant contribution to winning the match for India. The humiliation with which the Board of Control of Cricket India (BCCI) had withdrawn from the Sharjah series is still fresh in the memories of Indian fans. Although, really speaking, it was a DDM for Indian and Pakistani players, but actually all the final match results were controlled by Under World People (UWP). Players like Azar and Jadeja not only had a different style of playing; and losing their land; but they had also kept the game climax to the last ball so that hundreds of thousands of gambling money could fill the UWP coffins. Whenever Indian media and nationalist people (IMNP) had risen When asked about ICT losing all DDM to Pakistan in Sharjah finals, UWP and its henchmen created the hype of keeping sports Away from politics through Corrupt and Characterless Indian Politicians (CCIP). What I feel like the real motive, to keep the Sharjah series, was to mint money for UWP.

Third, I would also like to record my husband’s feelings each time a former player is re-selected, citing “ICT would again suffer an internal breakdown that would betray the BIF,” in quotes. I remembered his statement while watching the highlights of the final at Lords between India and England. However, the injustice towards Sachin Tendulkar could be part of a hidden agenda; but Ganguly’s style of playing irresponsible shots after shots, after having more than a hundred games of experience, is not digested by a BIF; and a common cricket fan (CCF). The sequence of windows falling one after another was a painful sight to watch.

ยท First, I would like to discuss the internal gap between ICT. Why is it everytime ICT doesn’t work when Indian fans wanted? I find that the internal gap is the main cause of the low performance of ICT. The two senior players, without revealing each other, are clearly betraying the Nation. Their actions are not only destroying the coherent spirit of ICT, but also lowering national esteem. Former ICT coach Greg Chappell was struggling to convert the secular Indian cricket team (ISCT) into the Indian national cricket team (INCT), but failed miserably. He, being from a very nationalistic country team, wanted to awaken the lifeless spirit of the Indian players, but was unsuccessful in the face of the dirty Indian politics of not only Casta, Color y Credo (CCC); but regionalism and regional identity (RRI) as Bengali, Punjabi and Maratha phobia. Poor Greg had to leave India injured without the INCT players feeling responsible for the Nation, a nation of over a billion BIF.

Second, I would like to discuss the pre-mediated mindset of BCCI and selectors. Still on the back side of your mind, there is the feeling of selecting a Muslim, a Sikh, a Bengali, etc. My point of view, cancels the exclusion of outstanding players; and select those players who have political influences, friends and mentors, whether in the Ranji Trophy chain or within BCCI or Bengali or Bihari connections. Why BCCI and the Selectors are discarding my recommendations to select INCT on merit rather than prior records.

Third, Secular versus national cricket The team thing is about selecting specialized players, while off-road players wait in every nook and corner of the country far and wide. Why should we select a player just because he is a good fielder, ball player, or hitter? I would like to debate while India is full of off-road players; So why do BCCI and selectors generally only select specialists from a particular field? Why shouldn’t the BCCI choose young off-roaders and prepare them for future ICTs? The Dirt of Cricket Money (DCM) and the opportunity to move the world with family for free is the main attraction for several politicians to become BCCI president. I would support Kapil Daa’s Indian Cricket League (ICL) for taking a giant leap to revive Indian Cricket and not compete with termite-eaten BCCI.

Four Merit versus CCC or RRI The focus of discussion is the role of CCC and RRI. I would like to meet my readers regarding: –

o Why should BCCI always select ISCT and not INCT?

o Why should ICT selectors be plagued with regionalism, chastism and nepotism?

o Why is performance and merit the sole criterion for selectors?

The fifth question is Ban politicians and bureaucrats (BPAB) who holds any position in the BCCI by ordinance or decree of the Supreme Court. In fact, the Supreme Court of India should take an initiative and prohibit CCIP from holding any charges other than accounts. As it is, in general, the CCIP Indians are very subordinate to the orders of the Court; our politicians only understand the same language. If we have to revive ICT, first:

o Create world-class stadiums by zones in the five corners of the country Delhi, Ahmedabad / Mumbai, Chennai / Bangalore, Calcutta / Patna / Guwahati and Lucknow / Allahabad;

o Honorably retire all stalwarts and seniors to pave the way for younger players;

o Simultaneously train Teams A, B and C at three different locations and levels.

I hope my suggestion revives the dying ICTs and makes the gamer proud.

of their performance. My grandfather always used to say in quotation marks: “The Indians hold the nationalists above their heads if they like it, but they defecate their faces if they disappoint them.” Today, I realize that your quote is suitable for conduct and ICT game.
