If the first step of online marketing is driving traffic to your site, the second step is to capture email addresses so that you have a chance to build a relationship with the emails. You want to create an offer that is so attractive that a visitor cannot accidentally leave it. They found it in your ads on social media or in an online search.

These 10 options can serve you well. The trick is to get to know your customer, know the questions they have, and what they might find valuable. Then decide the best format to deliver the information. You can even combine two or more of these into one package that a customer will find too good to pass up.

1. Electronic book. Collect your information in a Word document, convert it into a pdf with an attractive format, a cover and links pointing to you. In no time you can have a nice downloadable gift for your potential new customer.
