The debate continues and the media is increasing their reports on the refusal of the Liberal Federal Government to allow a vote of conscience in parliament on the issue of same-sex marriage. The members are divided due to the influence of the religious backgrounds of many of them. This is especially true of the late prime minister, Tony Abbot, whose loyalty to the Catholic point of view on the issue continues to block him.
The question is to what extent religion should be allowed to penetrate parliamentary decisions of this nature. More than a third of Australians are not religious and many have declared that they are spiritual, according to recent national census data. Polls show that around 60% or more are in favor of passing a law that allows this to happen.
While the resistance may be the result of what religious organizations dictate, there is a good case for suggesting that their arguments are based on false claims. Many point to the New Testament as their guide. My research shows that the document was produced by the church’s doctor, Jerome, who compiled and wrote it after Constantine established the religion in 325 AD, using his Islamic religion as a format.
He introduced the Trinity and Mary, the Mother God of Babylon, as a continuation of the practices and beliefs of that region. His heritage is Assyrian and his descendants come from the Amor, the people who built the Persian Empire. In Revelation 13: 12-18 he exposes his work, his intentions, and his deception. He also names it 666 and anyone who thinks he is supporting Spirit in blocking this act is a cohort of him.
It is time for everyone to wake up to the fact that everyone has been reincarnated as explained in Job 5: 19-21. As a man in my last life and a woman in this one, the difficulty one has in adjusting to role reversal makes people who they are. This is not a condition of the mind, but something that religions do not recognize. It’s the way God made us.
